STEPHANIE WEISENFELD KERINS – Women's Soccer 1999-2002
Stephanie Weisenfeld was the starting goalkeeper for three Dayton Atlantic 10 championship teams and three teams that played in the NCAA Women's Soccer Cup.
Her Flyer record 29 career shutouts are 9.5 shutouts more than the second-place player. She is third in career goals against average (0.93), but as the UD record holder for minutes played in goal, played a significantly higher number of minutes than the holders of the top two marks.
Weisenfeld was in goal for UD's first NCAA tournament win during her freshman year, and was credited with two shutouts (eight saves vs. Maryland, one vs. Miami) in UD's run to the Sweet Sixteen in 2001.
As a senior, she was named the 2002 Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year and was named first-team all-region.
In addition to the three A-10 championships, Weisenfeld played on teams that were a combined 68-20-2 overall, and 40-3-1 in conference play.
In 2002-03, she was named the A-10 Student-Athlete of the Year.
