GARRY ROGGENBURK - Men's Basketball and Baseball - 1958-1962

Garry Roggenburk was born on April 16th, 1940. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio and went to St. Ignatius High School. After high school he became a star pitcher for the University of Dayton. He played for 4 years and pitched in 79 games. In 1962 he led the University of Dayton to the NIT title. He is one of the greatest Dayton Flyer’s to have ever played baseball. He was a great contributor to the team on and off the field. 

Upon graduation, Garry was drafted by the Minnesota Twins organization. After his major league career Garry Roggenburk joined the Red Sox organization as their pitching coach.
