RYAN PERRYMAN - Men's Basketball 1994-1998

Ryan Perryman came to UD from Oaks Park, Michigan in 1994 as a star basketball recruit. He made a quick impact as a starting freshman Flyer.  Perryman played forward, was 6’7 and weighed 220 lbs. His presence was never unnoticed on the court.

Perryman’s numbers climbed every year he played at UD. He averaged by year; 9.4, 13.4, 14.0 and 15.2 points per game in his four seasons. He was also either the 1st or 2nd in scoring each of his four years. Perryman is the only Flyer player to lead in rebounding all four years. He average by year; 7.7, 9.3, 9.9 and 12.5. He is the Atlantic 10 career rebounding average holder at 10.7. He also holds the UD career record for offensive rebounds with an amazing 469.  Ryan Perryman is 15th in career scoring at UD with 1,524 points, fourth in rebounding with 1,156, and fourth in FG% with .546.

As a senior, Perryman led the nation in rebounding(12.5) and led the University of Dayton back into post season. He led the Flyers to the NIT, breaking an eight-year post-season drought on the Hilltop. That was the longest drought in the modern era of Dayton basketball. Since then the Flyers have reached the post-season11 out of the last 12 seasons.

After UD, Perryman played professionally in Korea for the Chagwon LG Sakers.
