KELLEY AUSTRIA – Basketball 2012-2017

Kelley Austria gained a reputation as a quiet defensive assassin, yet she scored nearly 1,200 points in her career. Best described as simply a winner, she played on four Flyer NCAA teams. Her impact on winning may have been best explained by her absence – she redshirted the 2015-16 season with a severe knee injury in that year's eighth game. UD was 6-1 before the injury, and 8-14 after.

She earned Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year honors as well as All-Defensive Team and Second Team All-Conference as a redshirt senior, 15 months after tearing her ACL.

Austria is 21st in career scoring at UD, with 1,197 points. She is second in career steals (226) and career steal average (1.88). UD's record for her four full years was 101-28.

Kelley is currently working toward a graduate degree in Physical Therapy at Bowling Green.
