FRANK CASE - Men's Basketball - 1957-1960 

Frank Case came to the University of Dayton from Flushing, New York where he attended Jamaica High School.  He majored in Physical Education and spent two years in the ROTC program.  While playing basketball he had a cool and calm demeanor.  This helped him to become an outstanding leader in the court.  He was the second basketball player to receive the Joe Gavin Memorial Trophy for his contributions to the UD athletic scene.  He went on to become the Captain of the basketball team.  Became the 7th Flyer in history to reach the 1,000 point mark finishing with 1,175 points.  

Frank married his wife Mary Ann. He also got drafted by the Detroit Pistons.
