FRANK SIGGINS - Football - 1949-1952
While at The University of Dayton, Frank “Sarg” Siggins, played quarterback for the football team while wearing the number 61 on his jersey. Frank was a Physical Education major with a minor in History. He was born on December 17, 1928 in Mineola Long Island, New York to parents Joseph and Marion Siggins. Sarg served two years in the marines before coming to The University of Dayton. This is where he got the nickname “Sarg.” On August 23, 1952 he married Pat Fenner.
