ED "CHIEF" TOSCANI - Football - 1945-1949

At 5’11’’ 186 Ed was known to be a left handed bullet passer at the Quarterback position. Toscani was known for his toughness and because of his effective blocking he found his way into the starting line-up in 1946. He built his success through being a T-Formation quarterback. He earned Varsity letters in ‘46, ‘47, and ’48 as well as making the All Ohio team in ‘48 and earning the team’s MVP award also in ’48. He was also a linebacker for three years.
