University of Dayton Athletics

Jack Roman Brown was born on October 24th 1902. While at UD he played Center, Guard and Tackle for the Flyers. Brown was a 6 foot tall, 191 pound lineman. He is a recipient of the Special Services Award given to UD faculty and staff. Brown is a member of the Abraham Lincoln Association and the donor of the Abraham Lincoln Association collection at Roesch Library at UD. 

After his career as a Flyer football player, Brown played 14 games over 3 seasons for the Dayton Triangles Professional Football Team. He also served as a University Administrator.
