GAIL JENNINGS - Volleyball - 1973-1976

While at the University of Dayton, Jennings was a consistent front row player for the Flyers, playing to the record of 115-52 over four years.  Her most successful season came her senior year as the 1976 Flyer volleyball women had their 3rd most successful season of all time.  All of Jennings’ games were played under Coach Dr. R. Elaine Dreidame.

Most of Gail’s success however came off the court as she was the Commanding Officer of the “K” Company of the Women’s Recruiting Training Command at Paris Island, South Carolina. She was a five year marine core veteran and was a four time United States volleyball assistant competitor and selected to the All-Marine volleyball team.

According to Jennings, “representing the Marine Corps is what I’m most proud of.”
