KENNETH MAY - Men's Basketball - 1968-1971

Ken May was born on March 12, 1949 in the Dayton area. His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Edward May and he had two brothers, Don and Arthur, and three sisters, MariLin, Eileen, and Virginia. His brother, Don May, was also a Dayton Flyer basketball standout prior to Ken May attending. Ken graduated from Belmont High School and was offered a full-ride basketball scholarship to UD by head coach Don Donoher.

At UD, Ken May was a starting forward since his sophomore year. Wearing #12 he quickly proved that he was not living in his brothers’ shadow but creating a name for himself. His junior year he was the #1 point scorer with 460(17.0 per game) and #3 rebounder with 193(7.1 per game). Ken May graduated UD with a degree in Business Management and was accepted to UD Law School in 1974. He later also received a Master’s in Business Administration.
