JERRY WESTENDORF - Men's Basketball, Baseball and Football - 1939-1943

Jerry Westendorf grew up in Dayton and went to high school at Chaminade.  He could possibly be one of the most decorated students to come from the University of Dayton.  Earning seven letters in his four years.  Jerry was the President of the Monogram Club, his senior class, and the ROTC Officers Club.  He also had a two year listing on “Who’s Who of American Universities.  He played the end position in football, guard-forward in basketball, and an outfielder in baseball.  He made the All Ohio College team.  His senior year he was honored with becoming the Captain of the football and basketball teams.

Jerry married his wife Pauline and had seven children.  He went on to become a Certified Public Accountant and President of UD’s National Alumni Association.
